Subkiln is a Windows subtitle burner and video volume booster that turns your video and SRT files into a new MP4 with permanently visible subtitles.

Whether you watch on your computer, a compatible television, or a USB media player, Subkiln helps you prepare your subtitles and audio before playback.

• Burn SRT subtitles into MP4

Make subtitles part of the video picture, so they remain visible without loading a separate SRT file. Burned-in subtitles cannot be switched off during playback.

• Choose large, readable text

Adjust the subtitle font, size, timing, and bottom spacing. Choose Ultra large or enter a custom size, with white text and a dark outline for comfortable viewing.

• Increase quiet video audio

Boost audio gain up to 300%, with a peak limiter to help control loud peaks. Preview and compare the original and enhanced sound before exporting.

• Prepare movies for PS5 USB playback

Having trouble getting external SRT subtitles to appear when watching a movie from USB on your PS5? Subkiln can burn those subtitles directly into the picture on your Windows PC before you transfer the finished video.

You can also increase a quiet movie’s audio before playback, so the adjustment is saved into the exported file.

Subkiln runs on Windows. PS5 playback requires a video that meets the console’s supported format specifications; test a short exported clip on your console first.

• Use your supported GPU

Choose supported NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel hardware encoding. Automatic mode can fall back to CPU encoding when needed. Processing speed depends on your hardware and video settings.

• Drag, drop, and process multiple videos

Add videos, subtitles, or folders and prepare several files in one batch. Your original videos and SRT files remain unchanged.

• Keep video processing on your computer

Subkiln processes your media locally. Your movies and subtitles are not uploaded for processing.

Your purchase includes a Subkiln 2.x license for up to two activated computers. Internet is required for initial activation and periodic verification, with up to 30 days of offline use after successful verification.

Designed for Windows 10/11, 64-bit. An existing SRT file is required; Subkiln does not generate or translate subtitles.
